NMEA 2000 DST800 Plastic Transducer DST800PV-N2

The DST800 is a retractable, thru-hull transducer for depth, speed and temperature, with an NMEA 2000 interface. This version has a plastic housing with a self-closing valve to minimize water intrusion when removing the insert.

The transmitting elements in this transducer are aligned with the body of the unit and transmit a wide 46 degree beam. When installed in a flat-bottomed hull or one with a deadrise not exceeding 22 degrees, this ensures that the transmitted beam will contact bottom.

This transducer has an NMEA 2000 interface. It can be connected to any NMEA 2000 network, and all displays on the network will then be able to access the data transmitted by the transducer. Power for the transducer logic circuits is provided by the NMEA 2000 network. The network power must be switched on for this transducer to function.
