Airmar WS-CC30 NMEA Combination Cable 30M

A 30 meter cable for use with Airmar instruments that have both NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 outputs. One end has an Airmar 9-pin connector that fits onto the base of the instrument, and the other end connects to an included junction box which then connects to the NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 onboard networks. This allows a device to connect to an NMEA 2000 network and simultaneously to feed a PC application through an NMEA 0183 connection.

This cable is designed to be part of the NMEA 2000 network backbone. Run the network through the boat to all other devices and then connect the end of the backbone to this cable's junction box. This cable then becomes an extension of the backbone. The cable has a built in NMEA 2000 inline terminator to correctly terminate the backbone when plugged into an Airmar device. A separate inline terminator is not needed.

An alternative to using this combination cable is to order an NMEA 2000 only cable for your Airmar device, and then to install an Actisense NGW-1 NMEA 2000 to NMEA 0183 converter elsewhere on your network.
