NMEA 0183 DST800 Transducer Plastic DST800PV-S

This version of the DST800 is a retractable, thru-hull transducer for depth, speed and temperature, with an NMEA 0183 interface. It has a plastic housing with a self-closing valve to minimize water intrusion when removing the insert.

The transmitting elements in this transducer are aligned with the body of the unit and transmit a wide 46 degree beam. When installed in a flat-bottomed hull or one with a deadrise not exceeding 22 degrees, this ensures that the transmitted beam will contact bottom.

This transducer has an NMEA 0183 interface. The cable has two conductors for the NMEA 0183 interface and two for the 12V power supply to the transducer circuitry.
