Furuno 556TID-LTD/12 Fishfinder Transducer SS164-12-10F

The SS164 is a 1kW through-hull low-profile depth and temperature transducer with a stainless steel housing, that operates at 50kHz and 200kHz. It has a fixed (non-retractable) insert. This transducer is ideal for fast, trailered, tournament, sport-fishing boats that cannot install an external fairing.

This version has a Furuno 10-pin connector and is sold by Furuno as part 556TID-LTD/12.

The 12 deg tilt transducer is suitable for deadrise angles from 8 deg to 15 deg. The ceramic element is tilted inside the transducer to compensate for the boats deadrise (angle of the hull). This aims the beam directly at the bottom for accurate readings.
