Garmin SS164 Fishfinder Transducer SS164-20-8G

The SS164 is a 1kW through-hull low-profile depth and temperature transducer with a stainless steel housing, that operates at 50kHz and 200kHz. It has a fixed (non-retractable) insert. This transducer is ideal for fast, trailered, tournament, sport-fishing boats that cannot install an external fairing. This version has a 20 degree tilt for hull deadrise angles of 16-24 degrees.

The SS164 is shipped as a generic 'Mix and Match' transducer plus a brand-specific adapter cable. If you change fishfinder brands in the future, you can continue to use the transducer with a new adapter cable.

This '-8G' version of the transducer is for Garmin sounders and fishfinders that use an 8-pin transducer connector (currently only the GSD 24).
