If your boat has a Yamaha Command Link network installed, do not use this connector, but the Maretron MARE-003 or MARE-002 Command Link - NMEA 2000 interface cables as the engine data is already present on the Command Link network and just has to be communicated to the NMEA 2000 network or device.
The image shows what appears to be a female NMEA 2000 connector on this interface cable. This is incorrect - the actual cable has a male connector that fits into a T on the network backbone.
