Although the economy may be slowly improving, Blue Heron Marine realizes that these remain difficult economic times for our customers and for the marine industry. We know you are looking to be careful with your boating budget, and so we keep our overhead low to benefit you. We ship some parts direct from our facility, and others from manufacturer's distributors. These distributors have large inventories and fast, efficient shipping departments - meaning that you get lower prices and fast delivery. We are located in Connecticut and ship from our location and from warehouses in New Jersey and South Carolina.

We specialize in marine networks and transducers. On this website you'll find a complete listing of all transducers made by Airmar for all major electronics manufacturers, and all the accessories and spares needed to keep them working. You'll find a comprehensive listing of NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 networking products, with explanations of how to design and install them. We are familiar with the use and installation of all the products we sell and we take the time to describe them clearly in our listings, and to provide you with images and documents to help in making your choice. You can search our knowledge base on the Expert Advice page, or contact us at any time through the Live Chat box at the top left of every page for advice in choosing a system or finding a part.

In order to keep our business process as efficient as possible there are some things that we don't do. We don't offer phone support or sales - you can contact us through the Live Chat box at the top left of every page. When an adviser is online, you can chat online through a form of instant messaging. If all advisers are offline, you can leave us a text message which will be answered by email. We don't accept orders by email or through Live Chat. We only sell what is listed on our website. We don't respond to POs or requests for quotes. We don't offer quantity discounts or sell at wholesale prices. We don't make custom shipping arrangements.

Shipping Worldwide

We ship to any location worldwide with the exception of those countries where we have experienced delivery problems (e.g. Russia, Japan, Korea and most of Africa).  You can see the shipping charge when you add items to the Shopping Cart. Shipping in the US is by UPS Ground or Next Day Air Saver for addresses in the lower 48 States. We do not ship to PO Boxes in the lower 48 states. To Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, and to all countries outside the US, shipping is by Post Office Priority Mail or Express Mail, and the overnight shipping option is not available.

Sales Tax

State sales tax is charged on shipments to addresses in Connecticut only. There is no tax on shipments to any other destinations. Shipments overseas are not charged US tax - the customer is responsible for any import or customs duties charged by the destination country.

MAP Pricing

Some manufacturers define MAP prices (Minimum Advertised Price) for some or all of their products. We are not allowed to show any price lower than the MAP price in our product listings. We can sell these products at any price, we just can't show you that actual selling price anywhere other than in the shopping cart. Products with MAP prices are clearly marked - to see the price you will actually pay, just add the product to your cart. You can easily remove the product from the cart after checking the price.

Return Policy

Unwanted items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a complete refund. You must request an RMA number from us before returning any item, and that RMA number must be marked on the return shipment.

Returned items must be new, unopened and unused. Blister packs must be unopened. The manufacturer's original packaging must be intact and complete, and must then be enclosed in a new box before shipping. All included manuals and accessories must be returned in new condition. A 15% restocking charge will be incurred for returned items that do not have an RMA number, or are sent more than 14 days after receipt, or are not in new condition.

Special Offer items cannot be returned.

Products that fail on installation or within the manufacturer's warranty period will be replaced. Some items may need to be inspected by us or the manufacturer before replacement. Always consult our technical support team before returning an item as faulty.
